Social responsibility and sustainability

At Gravel México 2026, we work continuously to promote the appreciation of the natural and cultural heritage of the Altiplano Potosino. We identify closely with its communities and towns to share with the world their cultural richness, identity, and the magical realism of a land where the extraordinary is part of everyday life: the Desert of San Luis Potosí.

Our commitment is to develop the event with respect for both the natural and social environment. Therefore, we avoid aggressive interventions on routes or landscapes, striving for each edition to leave the smallest possible footprint on the territory that welcomes us.

We prioritize the local economy by hiring regional services and sourcing locally produced goods, thus contributing to the development of the communities that are part of the Gravel México experience.

Likewise:

• All waste generated during the event will be collected and transported to the city of San Luis Potosí for proper handling and recycling.
• Non-recyclable disposable products will not be used.
• We promote among participants and staff a culture of respect, environmental care, and shared responsibility.

Gravel México understands the desert not only as a competition setting but as a living, cultural, and natural space that deserves to be preserved. Every kilometer traveled also represents a commitment to its conservation.
